C. is a public theologian, writer and advocate interested in prison/criminal justice reform, LGBTQ rights, harm reduction and government/cultural criticism. She was, to the best of her knowledge, the first transsexual woman to undergo formation and study history/theology with the Third Order of Carmelites. She has completed graduate degrees in Systematic and Historical Theology, and is a Certificated Paralegal and Human Rights Consultant.
