Dear Diary,
I’ve learned that just because it’s not easy, doesn’t mean it’s not good. I’ve learned to let go of the people who are more comfortable with me playing small than being my true self. I’ve learned to take my time. I’ve been reminded that I can do hard things. I’ve discovered that I have everything I need. I’ve figured out that I knew what I was talking about and I was right all along. Next week, some situation will tempt me to fall back into old ways of thinking. So I’m marking these pages as an aide-memoire because I know you won’t let me forget what I know to be true.
